The Blue Pine Split logs are cast from real logs found in real landscapes, then hand-painted to highlight the most beautiful aspects of this species of wood. This specific log set is formed from downed pine trees discovered in the Northern Arizona forests due to invasive bark beetles. The log's deep grain pattern and gray highlights make the log look like it was split in half. Blue Pine Split logs were found in the bark beetle ravaged forest in Northern Arizona. The infestation of beetles left behind acres upon acres of down trees, however, created unbelievable wood character only captured in the Blue Pine Split collection.
Vented Logs
All Logs manufactured by Grand Canyon Gas Logs are individually cast and hand painted to perfection. All logs are built with a high temperature concrete, ceramic refractory and stainless-steel fiber mesh. Logs installed indoors carry a lifetime warranty and logs that are installed outside carry a 5-year warranty.
