Scotty 300ft Premium Stainless Steel Replacement Cable [1001K]

Scotty Marine and Fishing Products hereby extends to the original purchaser of the product listed on the attached warranty card, a limited warranty for a period of two years against defective workmanship and/or material defects when used for the purpose intended, under normal conditions.

Any damage or loss is excluded from this warranty, and improper installation will void the warranty. This limited warranty does not extend to products that have been damaged (i) as a result of accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, (ii) by the use of parts not manufactured or sold by Scotty; or (c) by modification or service by anyone other than Scotty. Scotty is not responsible for damage that occurs as a result of the purchaser’s improper installation or failure to follow the instructions that come with the product, including operation outside the usage limitations stated in the user documentation.

The warranty period commences upon the date the item is purchased and terminates on the earlier of a) two years, or b) the date the product is transferred from the original purchaser. If the purchaser fails to fill out a complete, valid online warranty registration form, the warranty period will default to a coverage of two years from the date of manufacturing.

For any service by warranty, the purchaser must contact the Scotty service center. Please call 1-800-214-0141 for detailed instructions. In the case of a defect, malfunction, or failure to conform, it is a condition of warranty service that the purchaser return the product to the Scotty factory, freight prepaid, and that the purchaser did submit a complete and valid online warranty registration form. Scotty will, at its discretion, either repair or replace the product. Replacement freight charges will be covered by Scotty when shipping back to the purchaser.

The warranty provided here is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied. In no event will Scotty be liable for special, indirect, or consequential damages by virtue of this limited warranty. All other obligations or liabilities are hereby excluded. Some states or provinces do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

This warranty gives the original purchaser specific legal rights, and may also have other rights which may vary by country, state, or province. It is incumbent on purchasers to review this warranty and familiarize themselves with their rights and obligations.
