All ProSteel Safes carry either the UL RSC (Underwriters Laboratories Residential Security Container) rating — the industry standard that defines a home security safe, or the California DOJ rating. Our Vanguard and SRV-6 doors meet or exceed the FEMA 320 safe room criteria.
Each rating ensures that a safe meets construction specifications and has passed a
series of independent laboratory test attacks of the respective laboratory. The UL RSC rating is considered the more rigorous standard.
If your ProSteel Safe, Storm Door, or HSC is involved in one of the situations above and your home owner’s insurance policy does not cover the damage to the safe/container/door, ProSteel will repair or replace the product. (Safe/Container
