Now USA Made! 2 ft x 4 ft (45½" x 25½" x 3½") Rack Tray is designed to fit standard chrome wire shelving that is 18 in. wide. This allows the 3-inch drainage channels to be lower than the growing surface for optimal drainage.

Utilizing baker's racks for vertical propagation allows you to increase your production by more than 300% without sacrificing additional square footage.

The 2 ft x 4 ft rack is perfect for large-scale microgreen or commercial propagators looking to maximize their production. Specifically designed features allow this tray to sit flat on shelving with a trough that hangs slightly over the edge.

The trough reduces standing water.

This rack tray will fit four 10 x 20 inch propagation trays.

Shipping Damage Claims are not Warranty Replacements. 

If a product is damaged in shipping to you, reach out to us for a replacement within 7 days of receiving the package. We will need to file a shipping claim. Please send pictures of the box, inside the box, and the damaged product via email at [email protected], and we will send you replacements. The pictures are required for the shipping claim. We appreciate your help with this, as it is our priority to get a replacement sent to you as soon as possible.

When are my products not covered?

• Product damaged from misuse/left outside in the elements.
• Products that have been soiled or abused beyond a reasonable expectation
• Products lost or damaged through natural disasters, fire, or accidents
• Product purchased outside of warranty limit (warranty lengths vary on the product)

User-tested, Hands on Design of USA-Made Products

Since moving our tray production to the US, we have had a more hands-on role in the trays' design, composition, and manufacturing process. We have found ways to improve our product, like increasing the tray's flexibility while preserving the heavy-duty standard. This extra flexibility reduced the risk of corner chipping on the trays, making them even more indestructible! We were even able to redesign the tray's appearance by adding a thumb notch and thicker tray walls giving them added strength and durability. 

We've also been able to speed up product development, improve quality control and reduce our carbon footprint by lowering shipping miles.

All USA Made 1020 trays, 1020 microgreen trays, 1020 Mesh Trays, 1010 Trays, air pruning trays, six-cell plug insert trays, and 2.5" seed starting pots have a 2-year warranty to be free from defects.  

To ensure quality, we test our products at real working farms. If it doesn't break, it's ready for your farm. Then, the testing continues with you. Bootstrap Farmer relies on hardworking growers' expert feedback to continue to improve our products and offerings.

Of Note: The sun degrades all plastic. This warranty does not apply to trays left bare in the sun for extended periods. This warranty applies to and is warranted for cracks and degradation due to an inadequacy in manufacturing. 

Color fading under light is normal and not covered under warranty. Some colors will fade more quickly than others. While all plastics are sensitive to natural sunlight degradation, all of our trays are made with a UV-resistant additive to help reduce and slow this effect. 

How to Order Replacement Trays?

Our trays are made to hold up to commercial use. If they chip, crack or degrade in the first two years, we will send you a replacement. We want our customers to know they can rely on the quality of our products and that we want you to use the best. Email us at [email protected], and our friendly customer support team will ensure you get a new sturdy tray replacement. This warranty is complimentary for the first two years after your purchase.

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable or sanitary goods such as seeds, flowers or growing media cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that have been customized.

Q: How many trays are in a "pack"? thank you.

A: A 1 pack is 1 tray, a 4 pack is 4 trays, etc.

Q: Hi, What are the measurements on the inside bottom? Thanks.

A: 23.5”x44”

Q: Unfortunately I went with 48w X 18w X 72h shelving racks. Are the flood trays strong enough to have 3" overhang on front and back of wire shelving while watering?

A: Yes this shouldn't be an issue to have the rack trays over hang by 3".

Q: Hi there, I love the shallow micro trays I got from you last year, and would like to start bottom watering with the 2'X4' rack trays. Are you able to ship them to Canada? I don't see them on the Amazon store. Also, do you drill holes in the tray to connect hoses and pumps for automated systems? Thanks!

A: Thank you!  We currently aren't shipping those to Canada.  We tried but things end up cracked or chipped too often no matter how we pack it.  Something about crossing the border!  Hopefully next year timetime we'll  have a local retail partner in Canada for products like this.  And yes, there is a flat area to drill holes for your plumbing.

Q: Is there a drain fitting hole in the edge somewhere? Do you sell a kit to install a drain in the edge?

A: There is a plumbing space for you to drill your own hole.  Hole requirements vary depending on use, so a hole saw will help you create the hole you desire.  We recommend uni-seals as an easy, leak-proof solution.
