Description
Guardian anchors benefit from years of Fortress research and development, offering excellent quality, performance, and economy. Ā These anchors are manufactured from the same corrosion-resistant, high-tensile aluminum magnesium alloy as Fortress, which makes them stronger and lighter than competitive steel anchors.
With Guardian anchors, several Fortress machining steps and extra features, such as anodizing and adjustable fluke angles, are eliminated. Ā The Guardian Anchor is limited to one, single, 32-degree angle, which will work for most common sea bottoms. Ā The result is a high-performance anchor that is engineered for fast setting and strong holding power, and a very affordable alternative to those heavy, rust-prone steel anchors.
As strong as steel, but only half the weight, Guardian anchors are second only to Fortress FX model in holding power tests. They make an excellent spare or storm anchor for your boat or yacht.

Fortress Anchors offer a Lifetime Parts Replacement Warranty for theĀ original purchaserĀ against damage that may occur to any part(s) of the anchor.Ā The warranty does not apply when:
- Repairs have been made or attempted by others
- Unauthorized modifications or alterations have been made
- The anchor has been used to moor a vessel larger than the size recommended for a particular anchor by Fortress Marine Anchors
- The anchor has been abused, misused or improperly maintained
- The anchor has been used for military applications
Please make sure to register your anchor. If an anchor part becomes bent or damaged, please click on the button below to complete a warranty claim. You will be responsible for shipping & handling, which can be paid by credit card when we send you an invoice. MUD PALMS are not covered under warranty.Ā Replacement parts are shipped via UPS or USPS.Ā If you are not the original purchaser, you may purchase replacement parts from us for a nominal cost.
