Camplux hereby warrants this product to be free of material defects in materialsand workmanship when installed and operated according to Camplux’s installation and operating instructions.
This Limited Warranty extends to the original purchaser and subsequent owners, but only while the product remains as the site of the original installation. This Limited Warranty terminates if moved or reinstalled at a new location. There are no warranties, express or implied made or given other than contained in this Limited Warranty. No agent, employee or representative of Camplux has any authority to bind Camplux to any representation or warranty concerning the Product not contained in this Limited Warranty. Except as expressly set forth herein, THERE ARE NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, AS TO MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE WITH RESPECT TO ANY GOODS SOLD HEREUNDER. - Abuse, misuse, alteration, neglect or misapplication;
- Improper or inadequate maintenance;
- Inadequate water quality;
- Installation in a corrosive or otherwise destructive environment;
- Freeze Damage;
- Scale buildup;
- Incorrect gas or water pressure;
- Acts of force Majeure
This Product is not to be used as a pool or spa heater. Within the first 30 days of purchase, Camplux will cover all ground shipping costs for warranty related issues, excluding AK, HI, Canada, and any location outside of the continental US. Does the unit drain water by itself?
The essential type (AY132 & AY132B) does not draw water by itself as it does not have a built-in pump. You will need a pressurised water source to feed water into the unit. Consider our Complete Pump Pack
How to Winterize the unit?
To drain the device properly, please open the drain stern at the bottom right of the water heater, turning in a counter clockwise direction. Disconnect all incoming and outgoing water lines to ensure proper drainage from the water heater.
Can this shower be used in elevation?
As long as you have good water supply.
How much water do I need for a shower?
Camplux Camper Kit has an adjustable water flow rate between 2.5-6 LPM (0.6-1.6 GPM). So, if you want a 5-minute shower, you will use between 12.5-30 litres (3.3-8 gallons) of water.
How can it hold up in the weather?
The unit was designed for portable outdoor use. It is splash-proof and can manage a little drizzle, however, prolonged exposure to rain/water will damage the internal components. We recommend our Pro Series which can install a weather-proof rain cap and has larger flow rate (from 1.58 to 5.28 GPM).
Gas requirement for the unit.
It uses gas to heat up water and can run off 9kg (20lb) BBQ gas bottles for 16 hours of continuous use.
